MODELING OF ROAD PERFORMANCE ASSESSMENT BASED ON PAVEMENT, SHOULDER, AND DRAINAGE

Measuring the value of road performance requires an emphasis on optimal demand. In Indonesia, pavement assessment is sole basis for evaluating value. However, not solely determined by performance, as shoulder and drainage systems also influences it. This study aims to create a evaluation model that quantitative in nature, taking into account both frequency size damages shoulders systems. To construct model, this employed Structural Equation Model. According findings, condition had impact road's measured International Roughness Index (IRI). The subsidence factor most significant (31.1%), then followed waterlogging (29.4%), potholes (29.2%), edge height difference (5.3%), addition slope (5.0%). other hand, was influenced cross-sectional conditions channel (34.6%), structural canal (29.2%). found pavement, shoulder, respective effect 58.1%, 20.2%, 21.7% performance.
